Sheryl Grey
Sheryl is the owner of Shades of Grey and a passionate nail technician who has been doing nails for ten years. Having started out as a mobile nail artist, Sheryl opened her first salon in 2018. Within a year, the team outgrew the West Street salon, and, headed up by Sheryl, they now proudly operate from their riverfront salon at The Chandlery on the Quayside.
Over the years, Sheryl has built a loyal following of clients, many of whom have been visiting her for several years or more. Sheryl loves an artistic challenge and you can always count on her to have the latest range of colours - just be prepared to be spoiled for choice when it comes to choosing a colour!

Gel Bottle
We only use Gel Bottle polishes and builders to ensure a professional, quality finish every time. The GelBottle Inc™ gel polishes are rich, highly pigmented, chip-resistant and offer extremely long lasting shine. The good news doesn’t end there because they are also vegan and cruelty-free.
BIAB
BIAB, or "Builder In A Bottle," is a one-step gel polish system that simplifies the nail application process. It combines the base coat, colour, and topcoat in one bottle, providing a long-lasting and durable finish. BIAB also promotes healthy nail growth and is perfect for those with weak or brittle nails. Looking for a little more colour? Gel polish can also be used over the top to give you builder gel a little something extra!
Acrylic
Acrylic nails are used to enhance the length and appearance of natural nails. They are made by combining a liquid monomer with a powdered polymer to create a malleable dough-like substance that can be molded onto the natural nail. This dough is then shaped and buffed to create a smooth, uniform surface before being painted with a coat of nail polish. Acrylic nails are a great option for those who have weak or brittle nails, or who simply want to add some extra length and flair to their manicure.
